To dispose of Save-a-Flush remove it carefully from the toilet cistern.  The bag will be wet and will leak water as it has perforations in it. Once removed to dispose we suggest you cut it open and remove the jelly and mix it into your garden soil.  You can put the empty bag into your household refuse for incineration or you may be able to recycle it subject to local facilities. Save-a-Flush contains sand and a super absorbent polymer.  The contents are non toxic and inert.  The polymer is not harmful to plants and will degrade over time in light. It is not harmful to animals but should not be eaten as could cause digestion issues.  The polymer is used as a soil conditioner in agriculture due to its water retention properties.
